‘Moonlight’ heading towards ‘Criminal Minds’

Well, let me first tell you that I intentionally wrote ‘Moonlight’ there instead of Alex O’ Loughlin, just to make everyone sure that Moonlight and Alex are complementary of each other.

Actually, the news is relevant to Alex O’Loughlin. We all know him as the hunk on “MoonLight”. The man did so well and people started recognizing him better as Mick. Earlier this year, it came into light that CBS was not into mood to let Alex, their most-loved star to go to some other show and network after the cancellation of series. As per the statements the agreement done between CBS and Alex,   a new series is under production for him. But before it premiers, they’ve decided to bring our very favorite Alex on ‘Criminal Minds’, another popular CBS series.

His role on Criminal Minds would be of a serial killer and the episode, which he’s supposed to appear on, is to be aired in April. He’s gonna appear as a guest star. It’d be his first appearance on TV after Moonlight’s cancellation. Moonlight series finale was aired on May 16, 2008 and it was entitled ‘Sonata’. So, his fans are eager to watch him, especially gals who are in love with his sexy look on ‘MoonLight’. It has been approximately one year since we last saw him and as the man would make his return on TV, it’d surely help Criminal Minds to boost up its ratings. And, it’d be amazing to watch how brilliantly he plays a dark character like he once did in the movie ‘Feed’.

During its first season, 16 Episodes were aired and it got 7 million viewers per episode. But, don’t know why CBS network didn’t bring ‘Moonlight’ back with third season. So, hey buddies… get your bowl of popcorns ready and secure your place on couch as our very sweety Alex O’Loughlin is back!

Are you one of those who’re eager to watch Moonlight’s sexy vampire once again?

If so, then here’s good news for you. It was very embarrassing when CBS made an official announcement to cancel the series. Network is in mood to replace the series with one of its old series, most probably ‘The Unit’. But they are not in mood to lose one of their most loved characters, Mick St. John on Moonlight.
That’s why only the network has made a deal with this Moonlight fame under which he’ll star in a new series from CBS Network. The new show is supposed to be developed by Mark Gordon- ‘Army wives’ and ‘Criminal Minds’ fame.

What’d be the plot line? What’d be his role specification? When it’d be aired? No words on that… but at least it’s apparent that we all will get to see this sexy vampire once again on TV.
All hopes of Moonlight’s retrieval have been shuttered after Joel Silver, the executive producer announced that the show is over and any plans to resurrect it, are not true. Well, Alex will continue with the network but it’d be interesting to see… whether it’d be possible to make a fantastic show like Moonlight once again or not? I don’t know what does gonna happen but it’s sizzling sensation that at least our heart-throb is back.

Retaining him is a very brilliant decision made by the network as Moonlight gets success because of his superb appearance on series and Nina Tassler, entertainment president of the network has already said, “Popularity of Moonlight was due in large part to O’Loughlin’s fan base”. WOW!!! What a smart deal!

When Direct TV was in mood to adopt Moonlight!

After CBS’s announcement to cancel the series, there were some chances of its retrieval when rumors predicted that DirecTV may bring ‘Moonlight’ on board. Blogs and sites were over-flooded with the above topic and I really thought that series would be back and what happened? We all know that…It was nothing more than just rumors and it broke our hopeful hearts violently.

Well, I was hopeful by remembering ‘Friday Nights Lights’. DirecTV- they’re the people who saved FNL and it was not that difficult for them to adopt another successful series. Even things were dead sure, but don’t know what happened which didn’t let the network to take a wise decision.

And this all finally results is Moonlight’s cancellation. Fans are not in mood to leave this vampire drama and some campaigns has also been set to make them think once again. But chances are very low! Really, I am a hardcore Moonlight fan and do want more from series. Season 1 didn’t wrap the things in well-manner and how can we expect just a single season from a very famous TV show.

Season 1 and just season 1…. No more episodes from Moonlight! At least, I’m not satisfied with this little stuff; we need more and much more episodes from series. Hope, someone would care about the hopes of fans! Hey man! Moonlight is necessary to shed the dark away …. Really!!
