Season 1
Moonlight season 1 was premiered on 9-28-2007 and the season’s opening episode was entitled ‘No Such Thing as Vampires’. Season opens with Mick St. John after a string of murders hits LA and he’s set to find out who’s behind all these murders. As being a private investigator, he must discover the accused and must stop all this from happening again. Mick feels a little bit embarrassed when he comes to know that a murderer with some confidential information about his past is getting released from prison.
A newbie vampire is unable to fulfill its bloodlust so kills innumerous people; it makes Beth to help Mick locate that vampire and stop him. Various other plot developments were- Mick hunts a teenage witch meanwhile Beck discovers the secrets about a dead prostitute; Beth also investigates the death of a fashion model; Mick starts developing crush on a woman who he meets at the scene of a fire; Mick is hired by a rich hubby for a surveillance on his wife’s affair; Attempts were made to kill Josef by blowing up his apartment; Josh works on the biggest case of his career; a celebrity is threatened by a paparazzi and she hires Mick to help protect her life; Ben learns much more about Mick’s hidden past. Season comes to an end on 5-16-2008 and the season finale was entitled ‘Sonata’.

A vampire kills a human being during the heat of passion and it makes Beth and Mick to think about the relationship between mortal and immortal. Investigation of this case puts Mick and Josef’s secrets in a risk and they both are forced to join with some other vampires in LA if they wanna keep their secret hidden.
