Moonlight seasons are paranormal romantic supernatural horror created by Ron Koslow, Trevor Munson and narrated by Alex O’Loughlin. Production companies Warner Bros. Television, and Silver Pictures have produced the show in association with executive producers Ron Koslow, Trevor Munson, Gerard Bocaccio, Joel Silver, Rod Holcomb, Chip Johannessen, Gabrielle Stanton, Harry Werksman, David Barrett and David Greenwalt. Originally, it has been broadcast on CBS channel. Moonlight season 1 was premiered on 28^th September, 2007

Mick St. John, a private investigator; Beth Turner, an internet reporter ; Josef Kostan, a 400-year old vampire; and Coraline Duvall, St. John’s ex-wife are the main characters of the show. Mick, the male protagonist of the show is an eighty five year old vampire. He does not hunt innocents, children and woman, and is not cruel like other usual vampires. He was turned into vampire by his ex-wife, Coraline. Fearing, that being a vampire he may become hindrance in normal life of Beth Turner, her beloved, he loathes continuing any relationship with her. Beth is an internet reporter who initially did not recognized Mick as he saved her from kidnapper twenty two year before but loves and shares a romantic relationship with him after realizing the truth. She was dating Josh Lindsey in the beginning of series. Mick’s mentor and friend, Josef Kostan, is a 400-year old vampire who is always in the company of several beautiful women. He is good businessman and quite rich. Mick’s ex-wife, Coraline Duvall, is about three hundred years old and remained disappeared for near about twenty years. She was supposed to be dead till she was found in alias Morgan and told everyone that she has found the way by which a vampire can be transformed back to human being. Further, Mick tries his best to get the formula and be reconverted to human being.

In 2007-08, the show ranked 89 out of 281and averaged 7.51 million viewers. It has been nominated on various award functions and has remained successful in winning the same. During its airing, Moonlight seasons won millions of hearts. Moonlight season 2 ended on 16^th May, 2008.
